Marina's Bio
I was born in the former Soviet Union to Jewish parents. In 1975 I trusted Jesus as my Savior. At that time any faith was persecuted. One Sunday morning I was listening to the radio and found an evangelistic broadcast in Russian from Monte Carlo. It became my hidden home church. I spent years looking for the Bible and other believers. I was totally surprised when I found other Jews who believed in Jesus!

Having a degree in mechanical engineering, I worked as an engineer-designer in the automobile industry for many years. In the early 1990s, I felt God’s call to witness to my people about Jesus as the Messiah of Israel. In 1995, I took part in a Moscow summer witnessing campaign with Jews for Jesus. Then, in 1996, I graduated Jews for Jesus evangelistic training in Odessa and received a diploma in Jewish evangelism. By that time, I quit my job and served in various ministries. I began working with Christian Jew Foundation Ministries in 1999, and in August 2000 our family emigrated as refugees to Brooklyn, New York.

By God’s grace, I am involved in the outreach to Russian-speaking immigrants – Jews, Muslims, and Russians. Six times a week, I teach the Bible to students of English in the Russian Messianic Center of Brooklyn. My husband often assists me in my work. Together, we write, print, and hand out evangelistic tracts. We distribute many New Testaments and spiritual brochures, as well. From time to time, we assist with giving clothes to the needy.

Together with our friends, Finnish missionaries, we created a Russian-English evangelistic website, “The Gospel Truth.” Praise the Lord, this site is read by many people in many countries!

God opened the door to the Russian weekly newspaper, Curier; and every month, I write an article for publication. Additionally, I visit some who are elderly and ill, and I present them the message of God’s love and salvation. Every month, I complete all financial reports for our Belarusian team, and I also translate special ministries activities reports from Russian into English.

More than 30 years ago I listened to my first sermon on evangelistic broadcast in Russian from Monte Carlo, and now I’m very excited to be involved into the evangelistic broadcast in Russian from Brooklyn. I hope that many people can be touched the Good News through this outreach.

All members of my family believe that Jesus is the Messiah of Israel. Even today, He is working miracles, and we will not cease praising Him! Jesus lives, and He is coming soon!
